As a new XP user I am fed up with MS.
Without hesitation I will recommend Mac instead
of a new PC with XP.

PMSL! Macs are alright, for your grandma who barely knows how to turn on the
computer.
People claim Macs are more stable than Windows. Ya, what's your point, a
calculator is more stable then Windows, but you can't do s**t on a
calculator. Check out this funny parody on the new MAC commercials:
http://www.ebaumsworld.com/macswitch.html (Pretty much, it makes fun of
Macs and their users)

Good question. Answer: anyone I talk to who is contemplating buying
their first computer. Believe it or not, here in 2003 there are many.
I've been a PC user for years (since the C64 days) and am committed
by a great quantity of professional data as well as years of PC
experience. But XP is so bad that I see a dim future for the MS PC if
it continues on this path.

P.S. maybe you can tell me why my Up/Down/Left/Right Home/End keys
don't work to help edit this? They only scroll the screen. Nuisance.

Greetings --
Has that old thing raised it's head yet again? That article gets
cited here every few months by gullible trolls. The author spends so
much time "swearing" he's not anti-Microsoft that one has to wonder if
he's even managed to convince himself. And the factual errors are
numerous. Search back through the last couple years for references to
that article if you what to see the specifics. I'm not going to waste
my time debunking something that has already been done to death months
ago.

I have to defend XP. Although a lot of people have problems with most
operating systems I for one have had not problem one with XP. I've had it
for over 2 years and have never had any serious problems.
Macs are great for some things but not for all. And the software available
to Mac users is far less than what is out there for PC users.

Confirms what? The load of rubbish Future power is trying to push?
If you are having that maney problems with Windows going all the way back to
3.1,
then WHY are you still using Windows? Sounds more like your problem is
a short between the chair and keyboard.
