I reecently moved the version of the 'My Documents' folder that is located
in the User Profile and placed it on a floppy disk drive. Now I want to
move it back. I don't remember how I originally moved it. There are
several ways of moving the actual "My Documents" folder. Unfortunatly none
work for moving the one located in the user profile.

Dave,
No I didn't create a new folder in my profile. I didn't properly describe
my problem for Togir. First it was the version of my "My Documents" folder
in my User Profile that I moved, not the primary "My Documents" folder that
I had indicated in my original post. (I don't remember how I did it)
Second I had moved the User Profile "My Documents" folder to a Zip Drive
located at Drive "E:\" not a floppy drive which would have been located at
Drive "A:\". Running the following instruction "dir /a
%userprofile%\my*.*" at a command prompt results in the response "The system
cannot find the path specified". I've double checked my spelling when I ran
it, and ran it twice. The same each time.
I've gone to the registry and looked at the values "HKCU\......\Shell
Folders" (Personal), "HKCU\......\User Shell Folders (Personal) and
HKLM\.....\DocFolderPaths ("My User Name"). In all cases the stored value
was: "E:\".
Yes I ran the script that Togir gave me. Since I had told him that I had
moved the "My Documents" folder to the floppy drive, his script moved the My
Documents folder instead of the folder on the disk drive.
What do you mean when you indicate in a parenthetical remark that "this is
the My Docs that appears in My Computer". I've looked at My Computer and
there is nothing labled 'My Docs' there.
