Is there an upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro? A machine I'd like to buy only
comes with XP Home, but I'd like to have XP Pro. Does one have to buy the
full XP Pro package? Does all app software have to be reloaded after a
change to Pro?

Thanks...

You can use the Retail Upgrade version of XP Pro to upgrade XP Home to
Pro.

Installed applications, configuration settings, and user data files
will be preserved.

Good luck
