I always love these people that think MS is some horrible
evil with a horrible OS and Macs and Linux has come to
save them. That's only partly true. True, MS some have
some rather aggresive business tactics, but they do make a
good OS and server, despite what people say.

Macs are good machines if you want to do heavy graphics
aplications with things like Photoshop (when I say
graphics I mean just that, not games or watch DVD's).
Otherwise, a Mac just isn't worth it. Have you ever
gotten a sad mac? It's the equivilant of a blue screen of
death, but so much worse. You can at least recover from a
blue scree, not a sad mac. Also, you may watch thos
estupid switch ads. Even though that was a great campaign
idea, those people 1)don't have a clue what they're
talking about, 2)worrying abotu things that don't matter
because the same things gonna happen to them on their macs
that happened on their PC's, and 3) forget to mention how
much more the Macs cost.

Linux is another good OS, but not all it's cracked up to
be. I use it on my laptop only because I wanted to learn
it, no other reason at all. I thought there would be
more, but no, not really. Everyone always tells you its
supposed to be faster, cheaper, easy to use, and bug
free. The only thing true there is that it is faster. A
big plus for Linux is that it doesn't come with all the
bells and whistles you don't need. I always hear people
rant and rave how Linux is open Source and free, well
yeah, that's true, but if you want a version on Red Hat or
whatever that you can actually use with some ease, you
have to pay for it. And speaking of ease, there's none of
that really in Linux. They decided to do away with that
user friendly notion. That's fine if you know a little
about computers, but your average user is going to be
lost. Also, people say Lunix isn't buggy at all. Yeah,
that's right actually, but only because the bugs are in
the software and emulation programs you have to use to do
anything. Linux servers are pretty good and fast, but
they cost overall about the same as any MS server out
there, and with the release of 2003 server, I would much
rather go with MS on that one.

All the stuff that article says it making things sound
much worse than they are.

Read through some of Jennings other rants.
The author of that article has some serious issues.
Like another poster said, it is so full if false information
and inaccuracies it's not even funny.
The sad part is some people will read it and fall for
his speal hook, line and sinker.

Please be so kind as to tell us a few of them. You've already
spotted them so it shouldn't be to difficult. Help us get the
facts straight. Please.
