my xp pro quit booting a while back, but I was able to
install ME. After that I have xp (which still won't boot)
and ME both installed as operating systems.
XP won't even attempt to boot, even in "safe".

I have read about installing xp through dos and it
wouldn't allow me to because I have 2 operating systems
installed.

I tried to uninstall xp in dos, but it says it can't do
it, because there are possibly some missing files.....

WHAT CAN I DO??

p.s. ME is operating ok, but a "healthy" xp would operate
my printers and interface with my digital camera better.

What happened that Win XP stopped booting? Did you received an error before it stopped booting? Did the hard drive suffer some damage that caused some files to become corrupt? Did you get a virus or spyware?

>Possibly, I really don' know, when I boot the pc now, it
gives 2 options, ME or XP, If I select XP, it just sits
there and the cpu clicks repeatedly forever.
If I choose ME, it boots and works fine. ????
