Is there a particular newsgroup to write for help with
Outlook express? I can't find it in the list.
I just tried to retrieve a message from my 'draft' folder
but lost it. Is there anyway to retrieve this lost
message and, if so, how?
If this is not the correct newsgroup for this question,
please direct me to the right one.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Linda

Hi Linda,
Yes there are many Outlook Express newsgroups, the two most popular are
listed below. I know that you are running WinXP, but the second one (Win98)
also as lots of useful info as most of the people run about the same version
of OE. There are about 10 more, but they tend to deal more with stationary
and other issues.

Thanks Ted put I just tried to go to the first site
listed below and I can't seem to find that site. All I
get is the MSN search page telling me that there is no
such page.
Will you please check what you have listed below and let
me know if that URL is correct?
Thanks again.

Hi again,
Yes I actually just cut and pasted those out of my Outlook Express news
reader and when I did a MSN search, I had alot of sites talking about that
site. This one might help you get there:

http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/preview.aspx?AssetID=HA010565521033&CTT=98

Or if you are not using a newsreader, you can always go to the Microsoft
Support page that has the newsreader. Outlook Express is well "hidden" under
IE6. Here is the link for you, hope this one works !

Do a Google search for groups, or if using Outlook Express
news-reader, use click on the msnews.microsoft.com header
then on the menu on the right, you can find groups by
subject and subscribe to the one(s) you want.

OE6-specific newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlooke xpress

Copy/paste the above URL into an IE window's Addressbar and click on GO.
The newsgroup will open in your default newsreader, most likely OE.
