got new dell with ms xp in dec. worked great until
yesterday. keep getting following error when tries to go
into hybernation mode. any suggestions:

"The device driver for the 'standard 101/102-key or
Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard' device is preventing the
machine from entering stand by. Please close all
applications and try again. If the problem persists, you
may need to update the driver."

I called dell and they had me use the 'reinstallation cd'
to fix errors - took 45 minues and didn't work. i
haven't done anything different to my computer - it just
started doing this yesterday.

The message is already telling you what needs to be done. The keyboard
driver (and/or the software for the keyboard) need to be updated so that
they are compatible with standby. Does Dell have an update for their
keyboards? Or for their supplementary keyboard software?
