I am trying to backup everything on my hard drive.
When using the Auto Wizard, I get to the point when it
asks for a floppy disk, seems ok, but then it asks more
and more floppy disks,strange.
I thought the idea was, 1 floppy for the the system files
and then then a number of CD/DVD media for all the rest
of my files? Can anyone help?

My dvd drive is the Sony-DRU-510A

Hi,

The backup utility was not designed for use with CDR's. If you were to
backup the entire system to floppies (assuming it would work), it would take
several hundred of them.

The backup utility included with WinXP can backup to tape or other drives,
this is where it is most useful. To backup files to CDR/CDRW, I would
suggest looking into third party programs, you can find some reviews of the
available programs here: www.cdrfaq.org
