installation

I just installed XP pro; took the option of removing all
files. Now, when I start the computer, I get the option
of selecting XP or 98 - when I click on windows 98, I get
message that files are missing - there are none of the old
windows files that I can find - how do I get rid of that
dual boot option which is not working?

Start/run msconfig, go to the boot.ini tab, click on "check all boot paths".
