Reenabling Display Adapters

Could someone help me out?

I own a Compaq Pressario 2500 with Windows XP pro installed. I disabled the Display adapters on my notebook and now there's no display. This is exactly what I did...

Control panel/Display/settings/advanced

---> Adapter tab
---> properties
and then I disabled the Adapters, Both the ATi Radeon chip and the default chip

My Question is how can i reactivate them without going into windows (because now I can't)

I had the same problem, and I reinstalled winxp pro with out formating the disk first, and got on with no problem.
