Not " MY " concept,, it is "their" concept, and one that I have used
over, and over, it gets them to jump through hoops. Sign NDA's, pay for
trips, pay option money on , and even license your IP.

The "one" thing is quite simple, it is a new product "they want badly",
and they want no one else to have it. Yes it is just that simple, it is
inventing something the "manufacturer" wants, and wants BAD, very Bad,
they could care less if you have filed for a patent "yet", most would
prefer their patent attorneys write it anyway.

See every invention is not the same, you have many inventions that the
manufactures could care less about, about 99% of the inventions out
there fit this group, so they have all these rules for submitting these,
but that 1%, they throw the rules out to get it. Oh they will deny they
have two sets of rules, but trust me, I have seen NO manufacturer who
didn't, regardless of the market they are in.

If they want something bad enough, they will do anything you want them
to, that they can afford that is, you can still price yourself out.

So the "one" thing is, the one invention "they" really want.

Now how do you invent these ?

By Learning your market.

By the way, I just licensed another one, (well the check has not
cleared, but they told me they wanted it)

I finished the design at about 3 this morning, (started on solving the
problem last Friday, dang longest it has ever took me to solve a
problem) made the phone call at 9, by 9:15, the main parts of the deal
were agreed to.

I just told them what it does, and what it cost to manufacture, their
reply was, if it does it? we want it. Of course he knew if I told them
it does it, it does. (I have a working proto type, I finished at 5:30
this morning, so I "know" it works). They still don't have a clue on how
I have solved this problem

I know my market, I knew this problem needed to be solved, and I knew
every manufacturer would want it , If I could solved it.
