After running Error Checking (XP's equivalent to Scan
Disk in WIN98)I would like to read the summary. The
summary flashes by so quick I don't have time to read it
all. Is there a way to keep the summary on screen
longer? I have tried the Pause button without success. I
am using a Compaq computer and only have the disks they
supplied with the comp - Quick Restore & Recovery. TIA
to anyone for their suggestions.

Go to Control Panel > Admin. Tools > Event Viewer > Application > Winlogon
after running Chkdsk to see the report.
