Fax Monitor

Hello. Despite fax set-up includes the checkmarks for
enable send and receive faxes,incoming calls do not show
on the windows xp tray. Before, whenever there was an
incoming call, WinXP showed a bubble tip announcing the
incoming call, and what I wanted to do with the call, as
for example accept as a fax. Now that is gone, and I
cannot turn it back. I've being going through this
newsgroup, but so far nothing worked. Any hints?

I resolve my problem. For the benefit of others with the same problem on my same situation, here we go.
I have Norton Personal Firewall 2003, and it seems that in one of their updates the included a Netspy firewall rule that is incompatible with Microsoft Fax Console. Once I change the rule to monitor instead of blocking, then reboot, FAX CONSOLE IS BACK.
