Hi, I recently bought a PC with Windows XP Home Edition
already installed in Spanish. Although my understanding
of the language is OK I'm not comfortable having to use
it and would prefer to have the default language in
English.
Is is possible to change the Spanish to English and how
do I go about doing so?
I would appreciate some help on this. Thanks.

Windows XP is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change it from one language version to another. You'll need
to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP in the language version
you want, reformat your drive and install it "clean".
Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.

A good third-party partitioning program is Partition Magic 8.
