help & support annoying pop up

how do I turn off the "Help and Support" Center so that
it doesn't keep reminding me to upgrade a piece of
software. I've made the choice NOT to do what it
suggests, but instead of listening to me, the stupid
thing keeps asking me the same question each time I log
on.

I had a similar prob with windows update application in
the past. anyone know how to turn this crap off?

Hi,

To turn off the autoupdates, go to the Control Panel/System applet, on the
Automatic Updates tab, uncheck "Keep my computer up to date".
