I am unable to start Windows XP (Pro I think it is). I have a
suspicion (but am not 100 % sure) that the hard drive may be full, so
it can't boot up. I have some valuable files on the C drive, so I
can't just format. If I could just get in and delete some files, I
think it should be ok (if full hard drive is the problem). So far,
I've only been able to find programs that create a bootable floppy
which you can these use to read data on the NTFS drive. However, I
need to delete data. Anyone know how to do that?
I don't have the CD for XP either.
And I don't have money to go out and buy another hard-drive or
anything.
Or even if someone knows of a program I can use to just determine how
much free space there is left on the C drive, I could confirm whether
or not the hard drive is the problem.
If none of this works, I'd like to use READNTFS.exe to copy some of my
files onto CD. But READNTFS can only find my floppy drive, which
can't store my larger files. Any way I can get it to find my CD
writer?
Thanks.
