MSN 8, Windows XP, Dell

Just received my new Dell 2350, with Windows XP. It came
with MSN7 installed. Tried to install MSN 8. Windows XP
doesn't recognize the CD in either of my drives. This
same MSN 8 CD was used with no problems on my old Compaq
computer. Is there a glitch between XP and MSN 8? Is this
a Dell problem?
