User accounts

My son has somehow deleted my administrator account and
now the only account on his system is his and it is a
limited account. Is there a way to create a new
administrator account with only his limited access account
now available? Also when he reboots his system it asks for
a password for his account but he doesn't remember what it
was so he just hits enter and it bypasses it and logs on.
I would like to delete this account and create a new
account for both of us with both of us having
administrator access. Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot "delete" the Administrator account. Assuming you are using
Home edition, boot up into safe mode and log on to Administrator from
there.

there should be at least one administrator account in every win xp.

during the logon screen, press ctrl-alt-delete twice. and you will see a
screen where you can type "administrator" as the user. if you were the one
who installed winxp, then you would know what the corresponding password
will be.
