When I'm at an animated GIF website, the GIFS do not show
any animation; however, GIFS that I saved to disk before
getting this new computer are animated. I have a HP
computer with Windows XP Home Edition. Any suggestions?

Which browser? Which version? Which web page?
If Internet Explorer, is the box "Play animations in web pages" in
Tools/Internet Options.../Advanced/Multimedia ticked?
