I recently stopped a spoolsv.exe process from my XP Pro
task manager. Now I cannot print any graphics laiden
files or images. I can print a word or excel doc with no
problem. I cannot print maps from my streets & trips
program nor any photo's from Adobe Elements. I looked up
Spoolsv.exe in my system and it showed that the file had
been modified. I think this is my problem. How do I
fix, re install the file or correct this problem?
Thanks,
Phil

From the command prompt, type

sfc /scannow

(note there is a space between the c and the /). SFC stands for System File
Checker... what you are actually telling XP to do is check the system files
against their orignal copies and if one is corrupted, to replace it with the
original.
