I have Windows XP Hoem Edition. After logging in XP
immediately logs off from any account and gos back to
account manager. In addition a strange error message
appears with nothing written on it. I suspected of a
Virus but my antivirus software doesn't detect it even
though i have the latest updates for it. I can access the
system in safe mode but not in network safe mode. System
restores says nothing has been changed so it doesn't
restore to a previous date and trying a clean boot won't
work either... Can't figure out why this happens.
If someone knows the answer for this problem please post
the solution.
Thanks

If you are able to log in from safe mode, I would suspect that there is a
program in your startup group, or in the registry that is coming in and
causing a logout. Try running msconfig from safe mode to see what is
starting up during login.
