Hi,

I have a network in my company with Windows XP pro
(15pc's) and one exchange / domain server. The problem
apears to some computers when i try to share theirs
printers. When i click the option "List on the Directory"
it apears me a msg down of the option List... (no pop-up
msg)that says "This may take several minutes", and i
click "apply". Now when i click "OK" and i go again to the
properties the selection "List on the Directory" is not
checked!, but the "Share this printer" option is ok. I
trie many times, i restart the pc, i reinstall the printer
drivers but the same problem. On other pc's i dont have
this problem. Also i tried setup the printer and on an
other computer and works fine, so the problem is not with
the printer.
Also when from an other PC a try to add a network
printer and because in the "Find" option the printer i
want isn't listed a try just to write the printer
name...but tells that the printer couldnt been found.
So can you please give a me solution?

Thanks a lot,

Nikos Z.

There is a 10 simultaneous connection limitation built into XP. Therefore
the 11th connection will always either not connect or throw off one of the
previous connections.

you mean by 10 simultaneous connection limitation?
