I am not an expert, but seeking help myself. But I can
confirm that System Restore would not recover your old My
Documents. Check that it is not infect still there under
C:\Documents and Settings\... Or have you checked the
Recycle Bin?
As to your emails and addresses... are you using Outlook
or Oulook Express? In that case neither your mail or
address will be deleted. Simply a new profile will be
created for you. You will need to import your old emails
and address by going to File -> Import and Export ... Your
emails will be bunged to gether in a large file. Where
this file is created or the exact details of or to import
if you can;t figure it out I'll try anf refresh my memory
and explain further.
