View Full Version : Registry - Mr.Enigma
Squid

I was reviewing my registry recently I found a key that
looked odd. Does any know what the purpose of
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Mr. Enigma is?
It contains an empty string value (REG_SZ).
Thank you

"The key has to do with the built in DVD licensing scheme of Windows XP.
It was logged as a bug and has been removed from future Windows platforms
(Windows Server 2003 and Windows "Longhorn" etc)"
