Today, I did something which resulted in a 3 inch square of white occupying
the upper left hand corner of my desktop. Rebooting leaves it unchanged. i
can drag icons onto it. When I right click on it, and request Properties,
it appears that it's some kind of HTTP address linked to a web site which I
had looked at. I can't recall exactly what I did, except that it involved
my approving some kind of active desktop change.
I looked in msconfig | startup, but found nothing suspicious.
Please help
