View Full Version : CD Autoplay disabled...how to enable?

I recently installed a program (can't remember which one)
that said that the autoplay feature may interfer with the
correct operation of the program, and it gave me the
option to disable the autoplay feature and I did.

I am curious how to get the autoplay feature working
again? (i.e. when I insert a program cd it will
automatically display the setup screen).

Thanks,
Brian

I have tried that, and I have tried to edit the autoplay
DWORD in the registry to 1 instead of 0. CDs won't
autoplay (programs or music) and if I have a Windows
explorer window open, it doesn't autorefresh the contents
of the cd drive.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
Brian

Try item #330135 at the MS site. Two registry settings required.
