Networking XP

I am having problems sharing a printer and disks, my PC's have XP, 2 have
Pro, the third, and less important has home.

How do I share Printers, and I have enabled the sharing in the properties,
and how do I share disks, yes the sharing has been enabled, but NO JOY!.

If I didn't know better, I'd say Microsoft are trying to make it hard...

Presumably each PC can see all the others on the network?
