Outlook express&links

When I try to open an internet link in a outlook express e-mail nothing
happens. I'm sure I have something configured wrong, but I don't know what.

Try this:

Start>Run - then type in "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" - without the quotes. =
Please note the space between the 2 and u. Then open Internet Explorer =
and go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs and click on the 'Reset Web =
Settings...' button. Re-try the OE links.
