I recently installed this new drive into pc whereby
before it had just a CDRom drive (CDs kept jumping)
however every time I insert a CD a message appears to
say "Please insert a CD into drive D". I have gone into
Properties and selected appropriate actions etc. but it
can't read any type of CD and as for DVDs, no hope!
When I installed it I connected everything the same as it
was on the CDRom drive as I am not a techie so reading
the manual about slaves/masters etc as a bit beyond me.
It has manged to read CDs previously but now it can't
read any. I have only had this drive a couple of months.
I don't know what to do now. I desperately need to print
stuff from some CDs but I can't !!!!
