I have been running a dual boot between Win2k & WinXp for quite some time
now. I first installed Win2k on the D:\ drive then WinXP on the C:\

When I boot up the system, I get a boot menu (boot.ini) to choose which OS I
want to launch..

All was well with this setup.. Until...I had to re-install Win2k using the
'Repair' option. Now Win2k works fine..

But when I try to launch WinXP I get this screen:

"For Troubleshooting and advanced startup options for Windows 2000 press F8"

(This used to be a WinXP Screen)

Then I get this error message:

Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or
corrupt:

\windows\system32\config\systemd

Startup options of windows 2000 press F8

I've tried booting the system with the WinXP CD and going to the repair
console, and running the 'FIXBOOT' & 'FIXMBR' commands and I still get the
same error messages.

Is there a way to repair WinXP without having to re-install it?

Please Help!!
