I've also had this problem before, and someone here
suggested a "quick fix". Not a cure.
Pull the window to the size you want (without using the
MAXIMIZE button).
Then, hold down the CTRL, SHIFT keys, then click "X"
(Close) on that window.
(Amm.. maybe CTRL ALT.... anyhow, try those 3 keys in
combinations, sorry I forget which ones)
Next time you activate that program, it should come up the
same size you closed it as.
After a while, my window was working fine. Fixed itself.
