I have a Pentium 600Mhz processor which has 10GB HDD and
192Meg RAM.
I'm kinda new to this whole computer thing so I'm looking
for a bit of information.
When I got my computer it had Windows NT (Service Pack 4)
already on it, so I went out and bought the Windows XP
upgrade. I installed that with no problem. I also
installed a version on Norton AntiVirus.
Every so often when I am on my computer I get a message
that pops up telling me I am "running low on disk space."
When I click on it, it leads me to clean up un nessesary
files on my C drive. Then it tells me to remove programs
which I do not use to free up more space. All I have
installed is Windows XP and Norton.
I don't understand why this is happening. Is this
something I should be concerned about? Please let me know.
Thanks! Jackie Salter

Possible that you are running a log program. One that is recording events.

On som systems, Norton (SystemWorks) will install running System
Doctor at startup. If you have systemworks open it's control shell an
select Options|Utilities and remove check by System doctor under run
at startup. Also under systemworks item remove checks in "display
splash screens" and "display info screen" then click on ok and close
the shell.
When you shut down , restart once then shut down. This finalizes
changes to program registry values.
