Problems after uninstall XP Home to Win 98

Installed Xp over Windows 98 after realizing that this
system did not meet XP minimum system requirements. After
uninstalling XP Home, when I double click desktop icon
for Internet Explorer, I receive pop-up box stating that
iexplore.exe cannot be located. I tried to repair
Internet explorer through Control Panel with negative
results. I even reinstalled Internet Explorer 6.0 and
still cannot open it from desktop or START button. IE
cannot even be opened from the START button. Please help.

You may want to reinstall Windows 98 over top of itself.
