missing dll error message

I have an XP Pro system on which I have been unable to
install some older applications. When I try to install
them I either get missing SHELL.DLL or missing
COMMDLG.DLL error messages and the install aborts. Does
anyone know a workaround for this problem? These apps
will install just fine on a Win98 system.

You'll need to get these files, and put in your Windows\System32 foldes, you
can copy them from another computer.
