Hi, I need to transfer files (only files) from my old PC,
running windows 98, to my new PC (which is a labtop)
running XP. Both computers have USB (not sure what
version) and serial ports. Is there a way to transfer my
files by connecting both PC's via a USB or serial port
cable? I have some huge files that won't fit on a floppy
and the old PC doesn't have a burner.

Thanks. Dan

Yes, you can use something called a "USB Direct Link Cable" that can be used
to network both PC's together.
