Auto-Hide taskbar

I'm having problems keeping my auto-hide taskbar to always stay on
top of any given window that I using. Sometimes it behaves, and all to
often it doesn't. Yes, I've checked the box for 'auto-hide taskbar' and
'keep taskbar on top of other windows'. Is there something that I might
have overlooked???

Any comments appreciated.
