I just purchased a computer and installed my XP Pro. I
have the original disc, manual and product key number on
the front. i downloaded XP SP1 then rebooted my computer.
I tried to reinstall rest of updates but Windows would
not let me. It says it could not validate the product id
# and to contact my adminstrator.
How do i reinstall a correct ID # so i can go back to
Windows Update?
