Shoot for buying a brand new hard drive. Go for the
clean install w/ XP. Windows XP has a great
feature "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" You can
actually just migrate all your old important files to the
new HD. And with the Price of Hard drives these days,
you can't go wrong. I believe I saw a Maxtor 120 GB for
$80.00 after a couple of mail- in rebates. And if you run
both HD's on the same PC you can actually use both ME or
XP on the same PC.
