Windows XP Pro keep restarting?

Hi Everyone

I have deleted an entery in my Registry using regedit. I thought that
program is a virus "I have a backdoor for more than a week which keeps
coming back". I have made the changes without backing up my registry file
"or the true I back it up but can not find it".
Since I have made that change and I can not shut down my computer.
Any help will be appreciated.

The System Restore tool should be able to undo your Registry editing.

If this does not help you may want to post the error message or
further details on what happens when you attempt to shutdown the PC.

As a long shot, do you remember what and where you deleted? Perhaps, If you
tell us that, we can reconstruct (re-enter) the deleted data.
