Right click the file and pick properties. click advanced,
and uncheck everything. and try to delete. if that does
not work.. change the way your viewing the file in the
folder. that usually works for me.

First make sure there are no other programs still using the files.
Close all applications. Then Rightclick the file(s) you need to delete
and check which programs are neede to open the file. Then check
whether the program is lauched at startup (either a shortcut in
Start|All Programs|startup or in the registry (check by using
MSCONFIG|startup tab). If it is then highlight the application in the
list and choose kill app (or deselect) then restart by apply|ok|exit
and restart, then try to move or delete the files.

Thanks both. I'll give that a try.

Somehow, I managed to delete one of the movies.

The other movie just would not budge. Says its being used
by another program. I'm certain no other programs are
running that uses this movie.

But let me try both your suggestions.

Thanks

Make sure you disable "guest account" & then log off. Reboot & then try
delete again. I had to do this 3 times before it would "go".
