xp removal

Hello
I am working xp machine now I want install win2000
instead of xp.How can I done this is it possible to dual
boot between xp and 2000.Pls help me as early as possible.

Ann Maria,

If you do not want to dual boot then just boot from the Window 2000 CD and
you can remove the exiting Windows XP installation and install Windows 2000.
Note: This may loose all installed applications and possibly local data if
you do not back it up prior to the install.

For dual boot support you must install the older operating system first then
the newer one.
This would man installing Windows 2000 and then Windows XP.

There are other techniques that may allow you to install Windows 2000 after
you already have Windows XP on your system, these may require additional
third party tools and may not be supported by your OEM, Support Provider or
Microsoft; (as appropriate to your environment)
