Passport and MSN Messenger 6.1

I am running Windows XP Home and Office XP and MSN Messenger 6.1. I have
unchecked the "run windows Messenger in background & startup boxes" in
Outlook Instant Messaging options.

Must I create a new passport to use with MSN Messenger so it is different
than the one used with Windows Messenger?

Can anyone tell me if it is OK to use the same passport for both MSN
Messenger 6.1 that I used to originally sign in to Windows Messenger? I
thought I saw an article somewhere that said that in order for MSN Messenger
to work properly, it is necessary to sign in with a passport that is
different from the one used to sign in with Windows Messenger. I can no
longer remember where I saw this article. I would really appreciate it if
someone could clarify this one way or the other.

It is *not* necessary to sign in with a different Passport then MSN Messenger (unless of
course you're using Windows Messenger and are current signed in using it), the whole idea of
Passport is to have a single login for everything, as such, just use the same Passport you
always have.

the article would have been talking about not _simultaneously_ using the same account in msn messenger and windows messenger
