I upgraded from windows 98 to xp using a new install
because my system files on w/98 were ruined with another
program. Now, how do I access the old programs that were
installed on my windows 98 that I can see on the C drive
but not in my programs list. Also, how do I erase the
old Windows 98? Thanks

Linda,
You will need to reinstall the applications and you can remove the old
folder that Windows 98 was installed in.
Windows XP will be installed in one folder (e.g. C:\Windows.000) and the old
Window 98 will be in another (e.g. C:\Windows )
