Hi,
I just bought a new computer that has Windows XP installed. On my old
computer (Windows 98SE), I had Windows Explorer opening up to a screen that
showed the C drive and then all the directories then the other drives.
Right now it open with the Desktop Listing with My Computer down on the
bottom of the list. Have to click on My Computer to bring up the physical
drives. I am crazy or does everyone else want what Microsoft gives you. I am
sure there must be an easy was to set this up.

Thanks for the help...

Dub click "my computer", right click on the C drive and select make short
cut, then when it ask, tell it to put a shortcut on the desktop.

Hi, Daniel ... Rt-click anywhere on your desktop, select 'New', then
'shortcut'. Type the following into the box
"%windir%\explorer.scf" (without the quotes).

You can then drag that shortcut to anywhere it's convenient, perhaps to
the Quick Launch toolbar.
