I have followed all the articles about how to remove
Windows Messenger and just use MSN messenger 6.1. I have
followed the instructions on this board rather than
remove it completly as I still wish to use Remote
Assistance with MSN Messenger. However, even with all
that (and it is unticked in Windows Add/Remove
Components) loading MSN Messenger still loads msmsgs.exe
and it still comes up with the "You have signed out
of .NET messenger because you have logged in at another
location" every time. Now and again it will log out and
then back in again giving the same message. Any ideas
anyone?

All I wish to do is use MSN Messenger (with the remote
assistance option) and not use Windows Messenger at all.

Many thanks.

Greetings Ken,

I'm not sure how you followed the instructions if the option didn't exist to turn it off (as
from your other post)?
