View Full Version : My Webs

I have built and maintained my own website for years without the use of XP's
"My Webs."
Just how do I got about mounting a new site using the My Webs interface?
Is it a case of building the site with FrontPage and then saving everything
to the My Webs folder? Or, what?
TIA

Using Front Page 2002? If yes, My Webs is the new folder where the disk
copy of the website will be saved or "published" using FP's lingo. I
avoid the My Web folder and use J:\Webs\<website folder> for my local
copies instead.
Use File> Open Web and then File> Publish to
- publish a disk copy of the web
- update site directly on a server with Front Page extensions installed
- ftp file to a server that does not support the FP extensions.
Detailed instructions can be found in the Front Page help file under
"publish."
