Hi Lance,
Return to the classic menu style for the capacity to configure it al=E1 =
Win2000. Go to settings/taskbar & start menu/start menu tab.

To alphabetize the items, click Start, Programs and hover the mouse over any
item in the list. Right click and select Sort by Name. To delete items,
right click the item and select Delete. If you can't right click in the
menu, right click the Start button, select Properties, Customize and make
sure Enable dragging and dropping is checked.
