error message when I close Outlook Express 6

When I closedown OE 6 now, I get the following message.
msimn.exe - Application Error
The instruction written at "0x77f58d2c" referenced memory at "0x009a4ff0".
The memory could not be "written". Click OK to terminate the program.
OE 6 closes OK and does not appear to cause any other problems, but??
The problem started after a recent Windows Update but I am not sure which
one. Anybody any ideas?

OE may be defective. Read "How to Reinstall or Repair Internet
Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP"
