View Full Version : What is "Render 3D"

When I boot up in the morning, my Task Manager shows a program called
Render 3D as running. I have no idea what it is (except an executable
file) what it's for, how it got there, or how to get rid of it. All I
know is that it causes the processor to max out. I've been closing
this program first thing in order to get full use of my computer!

Can anyone shed any light on what this is and why it's there?

Hopefully,

Go to Start/Run, type: msconfig and press OK. Click the Start Up tab and
see if you can locate that item in this list. If it is found, remove the
check mark from the entry to keep it from starting at boot.

Let us know what you find.

Yeah! That did it. Now all I need to know is how it got there and
why.

I notice a lot of other things on the start up menu that I'm not
familiar with. Is there someplace where I can read up on what each of
these do? I'd rather be a knowledgeable computer user than just
following the cookbook.

Thanks a million,

Your Welcome. :)

As far as finding information on what the items are in the start up section,
look at the file name that is detailed there and then search for that file
on the computer. Once found, right click and take Properties/Version tab.
This should tell you which program it belongs to.

Let us know if need more help with this.
