Hi MC,
Let hope the MVP standing-by and giving me the chance to help you
because your problem is very easy one, MC.

First, you must unlock your Taskbar if it is Lock. To do it ---
Right click inside Taskbar blank area then uncheck Lock the Taskbar.

Second, use your mouse pointer and slowly hover at the top edges of
Taskbar until a double headed (up & down direction) arrow appear
then immediately drag it up to add more Taskbar line or drag it down
to reduce the Taskbar line. One line is the least.

Third, you could also drag your Taskbar to any four corners of you
monitor screen, by using your Left pointer and drag the any blank area
of your Taskbar, either below the Start button or blank area near the
rectangular program active notification box. Try it, you'll find it.

Fourth, you could choose Auto-hide the Taskbar to gain monitor space,
Right click Taskbar blank area and choose Properties and put a check
mark for Auto-hide the Taskbar then press Apply and OK to exit.

Fifth, remember to lock it, see No. 1 above.

With 4th above, you can also choose Show or No show Quick Launch,
and do more Customize Taskbar. Don't show more than required because
it eat up your PC memory and make it run slow. Lastly, see if you could
find the double headed (left & right) arrow and when click it become
parallel ( || ) line. If you found it, try move it. A little experiment wouldn't
spoil the fun.

Please remember to post back if your're happy with my help
so others may benefit.

Best Of Luck + Hope This Helps,

Rino
